CURTIS FAMILY RECIPE

INGREDIENTS: FLOUR, BAKING SODA, SALT, BUTTER, SUGAR, MOLASSES, VANILLA, EGGS, SEMI-SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS. 

2 1/4 CUPS OF ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR

1 TEAS. BAKING SODA

1 TEAS. SALT

1 CUP BUTTER (Softened)

3/4 CUP GRANULATED SUGAR

3/4 CUP OF GRANULATED SUGAR ADDING 1 TEAS. MOLASSES

1 TEAS. VANILLA

2 LARGE EGGS

1 CUP OF SEMI-SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS

DIRECTIONS: PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES.

PLACE DRY INGREDIENTS IN A SEPARATE BOWL.  COMBINE FLOUR,

BAKING SODA AND SALT. SET ASIDE. 

IN A MIXING BOWL BEAT BUTTER, GRANULATED SUGAR, MOLASSES AND VANILLA UNTIL CREAMY.  ADD ONE EGG AT A TIME

BEATING WELL INTO THE MIXTURE. GRADUALLY BEAT IN THE DRY INGREDIENTS, STIR IN THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS. 

USE A COOKIE SHEET COVERED WITH PARCHMENT PAPER FOR BAKING.  WITH A ROUNDED TABLESPOON DROP THE COOKIE DOUGH ONTO THE BAKING SHEET.

BAKE FOR 9 TO 11 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.  COOL ON THE BAKING SHEETS FOR 2 MINUTES: REMOVE TO WIRE RACKS TO COOL.
